An interactive installation is an exhibit that responds to the guest. A person touches a screen, puts on a VR headset or takes on a challenge, and sees the result right away. It is a way to show a product that is hard to explain in words: a payment technology, a mobile network, a ski jump. We design interactive installations for events, exhibitions and bank branches and see them through to opening.

You can’t touch a 5G network. At the 5G launch in Turkestan, Kcell showed the network to journalists and bloggers through demonstrations and a virtual flight over the city. → Kcell 5G launch in Turkestan
VR takes guests where they can’t go from the venue. At Shymbulak, guests jumped from a ski jump and skied down a run in a VR simulation, then covered a distance on a ski simulator. At the triathlon by Issyk-Kul, a VR headset was connected to a stationary bike, and the visuals were enhanced by fans and humidifiers programmed for the route: hot air in the desert, wind and spray in the rainy city. The installation engaged more than just sight. → Visa Olympic Shymbulak Activation · Visa Asia Triathlon Cup
At the Visa football camp, every challenge was linked to a digital tracking system: guests registered with a photo, and their results were recorded as they went. The registration platform was part of our scope of work. There were more than 1,000 participants, and each of them has their own result in the system. → Visa Football Camp
At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and Shanghai, multimedia installations and interactive screens presented the products at Kazakhtelecom’s stands. We organized the production of themed installations and the demo content for them: without well-thought-out content, a screen is just a screen. → Kazakhtelecom at MWC

An installation can also be permanent. In 2019, Halyk Bank and Visa opened a new-format branch at Mega Center Alma-Ata, where technology became part of the space itself. There were no booklets or flyers: everything customers needed was moved to screens. A video wall on the facade; inside, a touch panel on a designer table and a demo zone with payment rings, bracelets and smartphones, where visitors could try out payment technologies.
We organized the procurement and integration of digital equipment, interior production and installation, and prepared the branch for opening. The space was designed together with a specialized architecture studio.
What the guest will see, what they will do and how long it will take. Content for the screens and VR is prepared to fit the scenario: videos, interfaces, product demos.
Video walls and LED screens, touch panels, VR headsets, exercise equipment, results tracking systems: the choice depends on the scenario and the location.
Screens, VR, content and the tracking platform have to work as one system. We bring them together and get the installation ready for opening: for the first customer in a branch, for the first guest at an event. A temporary venue also needs staff who explain the mechanics.
We are responsible for the scenario, equipment selection, budget and management. Equipment is supplied, produced and installed by specialized contractors under our management.
There is no public price list: we calculate the cost for the specific scenario and venue.
For an outdoor screen on a building, see media facades. For a brand space at an event where interactivity is one of the elements, see brand zones. For a complete stand, see exhibition stand design and build. All our technology solutions are in the technology-driven special projects section, and completed projects are in the catalog.

Content for an interactive installation is prepared to fit the scenario (videos, interfaces, product demos), and who makes it varies by project. It can be newly commissioned or adapted from existing brand materials, and that affects the budget. For Kazakhtelecom at MWC, we organized the production of demo content for the stands. In the Halyk Bank digital branch, the bank supplied the content for the screens.
A permanent installation can be built into the interior of a branch or office. In 2019, for Halyk Bank and Visa, we organized the procurement and integration of equipment, interior production and installation of the digital branch at Mega Center Alma-Ata. The project included a video wall on the facade, a touch panel and a zone with payment rings, bracelets and smartphones.
We price an interactive installation for the specific scenario and venue; there is no public price list. Four things affect the budget: whether it is permanent or temporary, whether new content is needed, how many guests go through it per day and how many venues are planned. For an event lasting several days, it also matters how quickly it can be assembled and dismantled.
The number of stations and staff depends on how many people need to go through the installation per day. A temporary venue also needs staff who explain the mechanics. Visa Football Camp at Forum Almaty mall had four stations with digital results tracking and more than 1,000 participants.
