Organizing team building starts with a question that is easy to skip: what should change in the team after this day? New hires need to get to know each other, neighboring departments need to learn to cooperate, and the whole team, after a hard year, may simply need time together. Each of these goals calls for its own format, and you cannot pick it from a catalog of games.
We run team building as a full project: concept, script, venue and a budget estimate you can clear with management before we start. We work from Almaty and travel across Kazakhstan.

Team building is a shared activity outside everyday roles. Which activity depends on what the team needs right now.
Many new people have joined, divisions have merged, people know each other from email but not in person. Groups are best mixed, so that people talk to someone other than whoever sits next to them.
Departments that depend on each other at work get a shared task. The task is designed so that it cannot be solved without the other department.
After an intense period, a calm format with no scores and no winners works best.
If the occasion is a year-end celebration, a party or an award ceremony, it is more of a corporate event than team building.
If there are several goals, we set priorities at the briefing stage. A program that tries to solve everything at once dilutes each goal.
Once the goal is clear, the choice narrows to a few options. Corporate team building can be:
Besides the goal, the people shape the format. How old they are and how ready they are for physical activity, how many of them dislike public contests, what language the team speaks. If there are several hundred participants, the program has to work for everyone at once or split into parallel groups.
Need a tournament with spectators and press rather than a team day? That is sports event management.
In the city, it can be an office, a restaurant, a loft or a sports hall. Out of town, there are the foothills and country retreats, where outdoor team building is easy to combine with lunch and rest; with an overnight stay, it becomes an off-site program. We choose the venue to fit the format, the number of participants and the season, and we handle the negotiations ourselves.
Outdoors, you need a plan in case of rain or heat. An out-of-town format needs well-planned travel: where and when the group departs and how long the trip takes.
Games take up only part of the day. Around them are the group’s arrival, a welcome, transitions between blocks, lunch and a wrap-up with results.
We write the script and timing, and run the day accordingly. The program is led by invited hosts and instructors. Sound, transfers, catering and filming are provided by specialized contractors, and we bring them together in one plan. After the team building, we collect participant feedback and deliver a report, with photos and video if filming was in the estimate.
A team program can be built into an off-site strategy session, a company day or a conference: one team is responsible for both the business part and the games, with one estimate and one contract. Corporate documents for procurement are available on request.
If you already have a budget range, we will show several program options within it.
The format of corporate team building is chosen by the team’s goal and by its people: age, readiness for physical activity, language. To introduce new hires, groups are mixed. To teach departments to cooperate, they get a task that cannot be solved without the other department. After an intense period, a calm format with no scores and no winners works best.
The budget for team building depends on the number of participants and parallel groups, city or out of town, outdoors or indoors, the season and what the activities require: props, decor, filming. Out of town, transfers and catering are added. If you already have a budget range, we will show several program options within it.

ROI Group has run employee team building programs, but we cannot show these projects on the site. So we show how the work is structured: the concept, script, venue and a budget estimate you can clear with management before we start. A team program can be built into a company day or a conference: one team, one estimate, one contract.
Tell us how many of you there are, what dates suit you and why you are getting together: to get to know each other, to improve how departments work together, or to unwind after a difficult period. We will suggest several formats with a budget estimate for each.
