A media facade starts with engineering, not with a video: choosing a solution for a specific wall, finding a manufacturer, producing the LED mesh, bringing the equipment across the border, installing it, commissioning it and handing over the site. We manage the whole process as general contractor. That is how four media facades for Halyk Bank and Visa came about in 2024–2025: two in Almaty, one in Pavlodar and one in Tashkent.

A media facade is not something you pick from a catalog. That is why the client has one project manager on our side, from the first question about the building to handover.
The solution depends on the building: will people see the facade from the sidewalk next to it or from the far end of the avenue, and how much light needs to reach the windows? This determines the type of structure and the pixel pitch. For a facade with windows, LED mesh is the usual choice because it lets light into the rooms. We select a manufacturer to match the solution, then organize and oversee production of the mesh at that manufacturer.
We calculate the loads on the facade and design the mounting system. We coordinate the placement with the building owner, the architecture authorities, the city and the akimat (local administration).
The equipment comes to the building from another country. We set up international logistics and clear the cargo through customs. When sites are in different countries, the import rules differ too: in our series, those countries were Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The mesh is installed on the facade by specialized contractors under our management.
After installation, we launch and test the whole system, train the operator to run the facade, hand over the documentation and deliver the site to the client. From that day on, the facade shows the client’s campaigns.
The facade is not left unattended. After handover of each site, ROI Group provides warranty obligations and is responsible for the technical maintenance of the media facade for three years. Maintenance includes pixel replacement and monitoring of the technical systems. On the Halyk and Visa facades, we still manage video content delivery to the screens: the clients prepare the videos, and we make sure they go on screen.
A dedicated ROI Group project manager is responsible for delivery. The responsibilities of the parties are set out in the contract.

A series of media facades on bank buildings in two countries. In Almaty and Pavlodar, these are Halyk Bank buildings; in Tashkent, it is the new headquarters of Tenge Bank, a Halyk Group bank, in Tashkent City. This is a joint project of Halyk Bank and Visa: the facades show advertising and branded videos for both brands. On all four sites, we managed the work from choosing the solution to handover.
There is no fixed price list: we calculate the cost of a media facade for each specific building. It depends on the area and pixel pitch, the type of structure, the complexity of installation and where the equipment is shipped from. The budget covers the equipment and its manufacturing, logistics, contractors’ work, taxes and mandatory payments, and our fee. For an initial estimate, the building address and a photo of the facade are enough.
A media facade works outdoors, on a building. If you need technology indoors, at an exhibition, in an office or at an event, see interactive and multimedia installations and brand zones. All our technology solutions are in the technology-driven special projects section, and completed projects are in the catalog.

Send us the building address and a photo of the facade, and tell us what will be shown on it. We will propose a technical solution and estimate the budget.
